Our design was for the conversion of a building partly formed by the original Hyde Park Corner underground station which had then had a nurse’s hostel built on top of it by the previous St George’s hospital.

The restaurant is on the ground floor with stores and offices above and a jazz room in the basement, formed over two large air shafts which run down to platform level.

The original faience tiled facade was integrated into the restaurant design which featured a planked wall treatment to the walls and ceilings using multiple hardwoods.
